The individual is a key member of the Impact 24 Protection Solutions team, which is part of the Ageas Regional Office Commercial Team.

This role will focus on:

  • product concepts and design,

  • technical definitions and pricing, and

  • insurance risk management (u/w, claims, reinsurance)

He/she will work with other members of Protection team, and Operating Company’s management/working teams to research, evaluate, design, and implement solutions.

Your key deliverables

  • Research and analyse products in the market

  • Research and analyse risk management solutions** available in the market

(** e.g., reinsurance, u/w, and claims services)

  • Identify and Present suitable product concepts to Opco’s, and advise on product planning / prioritisation

  • Work with operating company as an expert on, design/definition, and pricing

  • Work with reinsurers on solutions to enhance the pricing / product proposition to end customer

  • Analyse the overall portfolio of products across all operating companies, in terms of categorization, sales, risk and profitability

Your profile

  • University graduate

  • At least 7 years’ extensive experience in life insurance companies, reinsurers, or  (Insurance) consulting firm

  • Actuarial qualification (Fellow level)

  • Product development and pricing experience

  • Strong commercial awareness (sales, marketing)

  • Experience in developing term life, health, and accident products

  • Experience in working in Asia for at least 3 years

  • Experience in working with reinsurers

  • Good communications and negotiation skills

  • Willingness to travel (sometimes for frequent/extended periods on operating company’s projects)
