For our HR department at the Corporate Centre in Brussels, we are looking for an HR Manager.

Your function

As HR manager, you are responsible for the development and coordination of the HR activities for the 160 people working at the Corporate Centre:

  • You oversee activities in different HR domains such as payroll, compensation & benefits, staffing, onboarding, performance management, talent management, learning & development, exit management ...;

  • You provide guidance and support to business leaders on HR-related topics and act as a strategic business partner for senior management;

  • You collect HR metrics, give recommendations to the ExCo (payroll evolution, exit management, engagement survey...) and lead the improvement of HR processes;

  • You translate the business strategy into a yearly HR business plan and tangible HR actions;

  • You lead and/or participate to different HR projects, such as co-designing the future of work, launching different well-being initiatives, updating the flexible income plan, reviewing the performance appraisal process …;

  • You ensure pro-active internal HR communication using various channels;

  • You stay abreast of the most recent developments in various HR domains, identify opportunities and propose improvements to the HR practices at Ageas

You report to the Group HR Director of Ageas and coach a team of 2 to 3 professionals.

Your profile

  • Next to a Master degree, you have at least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in HRM, with several years on a managerial level and a proven track record in both Soft and Hard HR;

  • You show business acumen and can easily partner up with the leadership team in customer oriented manner;

  • You feel comfortable working at both strategic and operational level and can easily build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

  • You act as a real coach and can give guidance to colleagues and team members;

  • You are highly approachable, trustworthy and discrete;

  • You have a hands-on, pragmatic approach and are result-oriented;

  • You are easy with numbers and you give evidence of an analytical mind;

  • You are change and learning oriented and able to deal with ambiguity;

  • You have a profound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) – experience with Cornerstone is an asset;

  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French,.
