For our communications department, located in Brussels, we are looking for an Internal Communications Manager.

Your function

As Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for all internal communication initiatives at the Ageas Corporate Centre (Ageas’s headquarters counting 180 employees). Within your role, you will be responsible for sharing company news and getting your colleagues connected & engaged through different initiatives & formats, contributing towards making Ageas a Great Place to Grow for all. You will also take a leading role in specific change management communications programmes.

Your tasks will include the following:

  • Lead the overall development and execution of the internal communications strategy at Ageas’s Corporate Centre;

  • Manage the internal communications agenda, in close collaboration & alignment with HR;

  • Organisation of physical, digital & hybrid events, Q&A sessions and networking & knowledge sharing moments for all Corporate Centre employees;

  • Organisation of special connection & knowledge sharing initiatives for senior management;

  • Provide communication support and counsel to other departments;

  • Enhance the internal positioning of the CEO, the Ageas Executive Committee and senior management;

  • Participate in change management project teams and assure the development & roll-out of an effective change management communication plan for specific projects such as our transition towards a new way of working.

Your profile

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar communication role;

  • You are interested in financials and/or understand the financial market. Experience at corporate level or in the financial sector is a plus;

  • You possess strong presentation and written communication skills

  • You are proficient in English, Dutch and French (both written and spoken);

  • You are able to build a strong internal network in no time;

  • You have high degree of computer literacy: MS Office tools, digital communications & collaboration tools;

  • You have a team-oriented work style;

  • You are pro-active, open-minded, creative, and flexible;

  • You are a communications all-rounder who does not hold back in helping fellow team members in busy periods;
