Your function:

You will be part of the Investor Relations team at the Corporate Center in Brussels. Its role is to ensure a smooth relationship with current and potential institutional and retail shareholders through a variety of activities such as:

  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of Ageas and its financials (P&L and balance sheet) and follow the latest developments of Ageas’ competitors and the financial markets as a whole.

  • Be actively involved in the preparation of publications regarding different types of content such as earnings, strategy, M&A and legal topics.

  • Provide shareholders rapidly, proactively and accurately with all information needed in order to help them to better understand the dynamics of our company

  • Inform and provide feedback to senior management on important topics (as IR is the first window to the market).

  • Organize and potentially (co-)host roadshows, conferences and investor days oriented to institutional and retail investors in various countries/cities worldwide

Your profile:

  • You have a master degree and are keen to learn and to work with financial data

  • A first relevant working experience is an advantage, preferably in the insurance sector

  • You are interested to learn about Ageas and the insurance sector

  • You are passionate about financial markets

  • You have excellent verbal and written communications skills and easily manage relationships

  • You like to work in a dynamic team that needs to be flexible in response to short term urgencies

  • You are able to work discretely and with confidential (price) sensitive information

  • You have a sense for independent work and are passionate about working together in a team towards the joint deliverables

  • You have a good knowledge of Word, PPT and Excel and you are keen to work with software tools as Bloomberg and Nasdaq

  • You have a very good knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch/French would be a plus
