To strengthen the Management Information Systems team of our Group Finance department in Brussels we are looking for a Financial IT Developer.

Your function

In your role as Financial IT Developer, you are responsible for implementing financial/risk reports in our consolidation/reporting tools in order to automate the creation of these reports:

  • You implement financial reports in the consolidation and reporting tools;

  • You develop interfaces between these different tools;

  • You maintain the reporting tools and continuously improve the produced reports;

  • You document training materials for the product area

  • You deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams

  • You support the analysis and resolution of solution issues 

  • You follow the change management policy when implementing and maintaining the financial reports in the reporting tools;

  • You work in different projects for implementing new reportings or new tools

  • You stay in close contact with its end users (Finance, Risk, Investor Relations department) to gain feedback about the produced reports and to give support where necessary.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor or master degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience;

  • You have more than 3 years of working experience within financial/risk reporting (experience in the insurance industry is a plus) ;

  • You have already at least one experience with consolidation/reporting tools;

  • Exposure to EPM tools like SAP FC is a plus;

  • Knowledge of the SQL language is a plus;

  • You are a team player, but you are able to work independently as well;

  • You are results-oriented and hands-on;

  • You are fluent in English.
