Your function

Activities covered by the team of Technology Development and Group Purchasing are Corporate Centre IT coordination & operations, Corporate Centre PMO and Architecture, Data Management, Procurement and Group Sharing Initiatives. To strengthen the team, we are looking for an IT Project Manager & Analyst in the team of IT coordination & operations. The IT Project Manager & Analyst is responsible for the preparation and execution of IT Projects for the Corporate Centre, and for the performance of a number of run activities in the IT Coordination team.

Lead IT projects and perform analysis

  • Define project goal / scope with business owner / stakeholders and lead it throughout its various stages.

  • Planning and scheduling project activities and following-up on execution of these.

  • Manage scope, quality, budget and time.

  • Perform analysis of the functionality and technology required by the project, in collaboration with business- and technical people.

  • Facilitate vendor selection and contracting with external parties, together with contract owners, Procurement & Legal Team.

  • Manage external parties working for Ageas in projects.

  • Report on project status to PMO and on Steerco’s. Applying the ageas PMO methodology.

  • Deliver analysis documents and documentation in Office tools, Aris, and Confluence.

  • Projects can be of several types: security, infrastructure, functional applications, audit/risk…

  • Next to IT projects, there are also business projects for which the role takes up the management and execution of IT related tasks.

Run activities

Depending on the needs of the team, the role also participates in BAU activities such as:

  • IT risk & business continuity management

  • Disaster recovery planning & testing

  • Incident & problem management

  • Change management

  • Supporting business to use IT tools

  • IT security

  • Performing contracting & billing of the IT Services in the ageas Group Hub

Your profile

  • Experience of minimum 10 years as IT Project Manager. Affinity/experience with several of the run activities mentioned.

  • Strong analytical skills to detail requirements and solutions.

  • Broad interest and ability to tackle challenges in various IT domains: applications, hardware, services, business continuity, security, contracts, support… Willingness to put on various “hats”.

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent writing skills to document our IT Solutions.

  • Hands-on attitude. Like the small and the big initiatives.

  • Leadership capabilities & autonomous to drive own activities and projects forward.
