For the Finance department with its headquarters in Brussels, we are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst.

Objective of the function

  • To provide support in the implementation and set up of the Financial reporting and consolidation system for IFRS 17& 9, in particular the testing and the validation. Define test plan and procedures.

  • Acquire IFRS 17&9 knowledge (on the job training and learning) to assist in the implementation and testing process.

  • Report to Program Manager


  • Revise the current closing process taken into account the requirement of the new reporting standards

  • Perform test cases in collaboration with opco’s and Consolidation and reporting team at Corporate Centre;

  • Participate in dry run exercises and follow up on defects and fixes;

  • Analyse figures of operating entities based on the new reporting framework

  • Prepare internal and external reports


  • Project reports are presented on time and with quality

  • IFRS17&9 knowledge is acquired and recognised by peers;

  • IFRS17&9 project deliverables are implemented according to plan and with success;

  • Communication flows and work with opco’s are done according to plan.

Education and experience

  • Minimum a Bachelor in Finance

  • Experience of min 2 to 3 years

  • Knowledge of financial control, financial reporting and IFRS

  • Experience in testing and projects would be a plus

  • Pro-active, team spirit, willingness to learn

  • Analytic


  • Fluent in spoken and written English is a must

  • Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is as a plus
