For the Finance department with its headquarters in Brussels, we are looking for a junior IFRS 17&9 Project Support Officer.

Your function

The scope of responsibilities includes the following domains:

  • Support the PMO office and participate in project meetings;

  • Acquire the knowledge on IFRS 17&9 in order to share this knowledge with the reporting &consolidation teams in their day-to-day functioning;

  • Assist in project implementation of IFRS 17&9;

  • Assist in the revision and update of current closing process based on the new standards,

  • Design test cases in collaboration with OpCo’s and Corporate Center departments;

  • Follow up on outcome of test cases and work on improvement solutions;

  • Support the analysis of the impact of IFRS 17&9 implementation on company figures;

  • Provide advice to other departments and local entities related to project information and standard implementation.

After the project is finished, the jobholder will be assigned to the reporting or consolidation department.

Your profile

  • You have Master degree in finance or business administration;

  • You have minimum 3 years of working experience, ideally in financial controlling and/or reporting – knowledge of IFRS 17&9 is a plus;

  • You possess good project management skills;

  • You are pro-active and eager to learn;

  • You are a team player, but you are able to work independently as well;

  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
