The department Consolidation and Reporting maintains state of the art internal and external reporting for IFRS (including asset data) and Risk information and fulfills the expertise role in the field of Consolidation, Data collection and Validation in order to provide reliable and timely financial/risk and management information to all stakeholders and comply with all financial and risk related reporting requirements. The process analyst consolidation & reporting is responsible for the management of the processes and changes in this department.

Your function

  • You are responsible for the management of new processes and changes:

    • You coordinate the documentation of new processes;

    • You coordinate execution of the change management process;

    • You ensure the process maintenance and the availability of work descriptions;

    • You coordinate the testing and the collecting of test documentation;

    • You ensure all process related reporting for Finance department (self-assessment, End user computing, etc.)

 

  • You coordinate closing process:

    • You prepare the closing instructions;

    • You prepare the yearly reporting timetable;

    • You draw up ad-hoc instructions

    • You coordinate the Multi Year Budget process for Consolidation & Reporting department

 

  • You manage the control framework:

    • You maintain the Control Framework

    • You implement new processes in the Control Framework

    • You optimize the Control Framework/process

 

  • You manage small projects within the department and treat ad-hoc issues within your field of expertise.

Your Profile

  • You have a bachelor or master degree in Finance or Business administration;

  • You have more than 5 years of experience in a similar position;

  • You have extensive knowledge of Accounting, Reporting and Consolidation processes as well as of valuation & regulation and the use of IT-applications for the purpose of creating financial and risk reporting.

  • You are familiar with IFRS and Solvency II.

  • You are able to execute responsibilities for timely and correct delivery of information by certain subsidiaries.

  • You are able to work independently and handle individually specific (ad-hoc) subjects.

  • You speak fluently English. Dutch and French is a pré;
