Project Management Officer

For the Finance department in its HQ in Brussels we are looking for a Project Management Officer.

Your function

The Project Management Officer will support the Project Manager in the following domains:

  • Manage the project planning and follow-up on milestones and deliverables;

  • Prioritize tasks, set deadlines and assign staff to various deliverables;

  • Organize project and steering committee meetings and assure good documentation;

  • Develop and maintain a project dashboard to manage progress, track changes and create status reports on operational, tactical and strategic level;

  • Analyse financial data to ensure budget & cost monitoring;

  • Ensure that any changes affecting the budget are approved by the project sponsor;

  • Provide budget outlines and financial reports to management;

  • Ensure risk management: identify and communicate risks, set-up/review/sign-off procedures and maintain the risks/issues/actions/decisions log;

  • Ensure quality management: implement KPI’s to follow-up on quality/efficiency;

  • Follow-up the governance structure and facilitate communication between and within project teams.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor or master degree;

  • You have more than 3 years of working (insurance industry is a plus);

  • You have experience in project management support (domain of Finance/IT is a plus);

  • You have a very good knowledge of project management techniques and methods;

  • You have excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills;

  • You are pro-active, flexible and able to perform under pressure;

  • You are a team player, but you are able to work independently as well;

  • You are fluent in English.
