Your function

The RD, CRM, Asia will be expected to:

  • Lead, advise and support the development of CRM capabilities to our Operating Companies by leveraging customer research and customer analytics to understand customers, as well as designing and executing customer campaigns to influence customer behaviour throughout their customer lifecycle.

  • Provide leadership to the Asian activities of the global Ageas Data Analytics Center of Expertise (DACOE) and utilize this strategic function to develop operating companies' analytics capability. Be responsible for the pipeline of new data analytics projects and make use of the team of functional experts in the Regional Office to provide the best solutions to our Operating Companies.

Key aspects and roles to deliver the objective:

  • Drive the adoption and development of CRM strategies in our business entities, in conjunction with the operating companies’ teams, across all distribution channels

  • Increase operating companies' CRM capability maturity such as sharing best practices, defining and executing alongside the local team on CRM initiatives

  • Help operating companies to quantify and achieve benefits of CRM applications to the business, whether financial - top and bottom line - or customer relationship development, ultimately driving enhanced revenues through increased "stickiness" of customers

  • Guide, mentor and transfer knowledge to operating companies and DACOE team members on ways to implement CRM initiatives such that they become self-sufficient over time

  • Support the creation and development of the DACOE department in the Asia region

  • Develop analytics projects pipeline for DACOE department; working with the operating companies’ team to obtain sponsorship from their senior leadership

  • Provide oversight to all the DACOE projects in Asia and steer these projects to an acceptable outcome. This could result in ad-hoc specific tasks like conflict resolution, programme management, and other activities to get the desired results.

  • Make use of functional experts in the RO Commercial team to provide the best analytics solutions for the Operating Companies and to get results

Your key deliverables are to:

  • Influence, convince and to get the buy in from operating companies on CRM initiatives; create business cases

  • Identify gaps and new opportunities on an “internal consultancy” basis and help to define and execute improvement programs

  • Guide and support operating companies in the development and implementation of CRM initiatives across people, process and business change requirements; increasing top and bottom lines, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency

  • Develop, organize and execute seminars and workshops tailored to the operating companies to enhance the knowledge and to upskills in CRM related capability

  • Promote and define pipeline for DACOE team; Be the point of contact between Asia RO and DACOE

  • Act as the Ageas ambassador for the data analytics platform

  • Support any strategic business reviews and analysis of new business opportunities, if any

  • To build and continuously drive a culture of creativity and innovation throughout the region

Your profile

  • You have a University and/or MBA Degree

  • You have at least 10 years of working experience in CRM, database management and customer analysis

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in the Asian Market in senior management positions, or in positions dealing with senior management

  • You preferably have regional exposure

  • You have in-depth Life and Non-Life insurance experience

  • You have extensive experience in helping companies to define and develop their CRM capabilities

  • You have experience in working in a large, multi-cultural and multi-channel organization

  • You have excellent leadership skills and focused on results, culturally sensitive and able to work independently, with high level of independence required

  • You have people management skills: able to work with and to influence senior management and to provide leadership to local functional experts without hierarchical reporting lines.
