Currently, we are looking for a Reward & International HR Manager to join our HR team in Brussels.

Your function

  • You drive and continuously improve an effective international mobility program, and ensure international sourcing & assignments (long term, short term and business tripping), and expat management, throughout the Ageas Group:

  • You set up international assignment letters (expatriation, repatriation, extension);

  • You run and manage salary package calculations (balance sheet); define the parameters, run updates, inform the concerned HR department(s), perform cost calculations;

  • You follow-up on the appraisal process for the expatriates and manage the resulting salary increases and bonus calculations;

  • You manage a range of internal and external administrative procedures including payroll, rebilling, transfers, inter-country tax arrangements, social security (compulsory or voluntary);

  • You coordinate and organise all stages of the expatriation and return processes for employees and their families (residence/work permit, visa, international removals, social security, insurance, retirement, accommodation, special education/training, tax advice, cultural information, job search support for spouses);

  • You help expatriates and their families with all questions about their international assignment, their stay abroad and the repatriation process;

  • You monitor the employee experience of the expatriate population by defining service KPI’s and by conducting surveys;

  • You review the policies and the framework for international assignments based on existing policies, best practices, benchmarks and trends;

  • You document the procedures & processes currently in place, as well as challenge, benchmark and improve current procedures & processes;

  • You supervise and handle all specific vendor management activities related to local payroll and relocation providers and tax consultants;

  • You partner with (both local & CC) Ageas senior management, the expatriates, local HR, the Regional Office in Hong Kong, and external providers;

  • You assist in the calculation and administration of the executive remuneration;

  • You participate in different projects, mainly linked to the domain of international, executive or local Comp&Ben (e.g. Flexible Income Plan, shareplan, setting up & paying of LTI, … );

Your profile

  • You hold a Master or Bachelor degree and have at least 5 to 7 years demonstrated experience in a similar position;

  • You have a good command of three languages: English, Dutch, French;

  • You are customer oriented and able to communicate adequately with senior management;

  • You are well-organised with regard to achieving results and can work independently;

  • You have a professional attitude and are used to working in an international environment with people of diverse backgrounds;

  • Occasional travel may be required.
