Provide support to the Finance & Control, Asia – Corporate Accounting team by managing the financial administration of entities among Ageas Asia Regional Office. This includes financial accounting & reporting, account payables and receivables, cash management, bank relations, tax compliance & local regulatory requirement, forecasting & multi-year budgeting, expenses control framework as well management and administration of finance system.

Your key deliverables:

  • Daily Finance & Control Operations

  • Project management

  • Control Framework

  • Liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers and other service providers

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or above

  • CPA or equivalent qualification is a MUST

  • Minimum 10 years (for Senior Manager) / minimum 5-7 years (for Manager) of relevant experience within the insurance industry

  • Experience gained in an international insurance company with regional exposure will be an advantage

  • Strong and solid experience in financial reporting from Big 4 or listed companies is preferable

  • Strong knowledge of international and local financial reporting standards, specifically IFRS

  • Conversant with Concur, Oracle/Hyperion, Sun System and MS Office

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) 

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with management

  • Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills with a drive to success

  • Flexible, proactive, self-driven team player with a can-do attitude and ability to deliver quality output to meet deadlines
