Solvency II Reporting Officer

For the Finance department, we are looking for a reporting officer to join the Solvency II & Asset reporting team.  In this position, you will ensure that the regulatory group reports produced are reliable, accurate, complete and consistent.

As our new Solvency II Reporting specialist, you will:

  • Control the reporting chains of SII quarterly and yearly reports, forecasts, sensitivity and stress testing

  • Verify data quality during the reporting process – take immediate measures to improve quality (feedback via emails, calls, training, instructions)

  • Lead the LAT (Liability adequacy testing) reporting

  • Lead the SFCR/RSR reporting (implement changes in regulation, coordinate processes)

  • Make sure all data and reports are produced according to the control framework (proving accuracy, reliability, consistency, completeness, timely delivery)

  • Advise about procedures, processes to improve efficiency

  • Advise to improve the control framework.

  • Perform period-to-period analysis (analytical review);

  • Assist in the implementation of new reporting requirements

  • Test changes in operational systems.

  • Bring up ideas to improve operational systems/procedures used for the different reports.

  • Actively support and challenge the manager in the decision taking

The Solvency II & Asset reporting team operates in close collaboration with the other departments of the Corporate Center such as Risk, Financial control, Reinsurance, Consolidation and Capital Management.  In addition, frequent interactions are required with subsidiaries of the Group.

What we are looking for

  • You have a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Mathematics, Law etc.

  • You have 5 years working experience in FINANCE

  • You are able to demonstrate understanding of the Solvency II framework

  • You have a good command of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • You love digging into regulations, making the link between the texts and what it means in terms of business processes (sourcing and reporting)

  • You are process minded

  • You can coordinate (have the ability to quickly assimilate new content and take the necessary next steps (informing people, setting up a project, …)

  • You don’t wait until you are asked, you take initiative

  • You have strong analytical skills

  • You are proactive and enthusiastic about delivering the best result

  • You are a team player and able to work independently

  • You are flexible, and stress-resistant

  • You are eager to learn

  • You are fluent in English. French or Dutch is a plus.
