By integrating its digital transformation journey with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, the company launched the “Green Digital Transformation” initiative — introducing eco-friendly solutions across infrastructure, hardware, software, and user behaviour. This transformation is regularly monitored through 15 sustainable IT indicators, ensuring measurable progress and accountability.

Guided by this vision, Aksigorta continues to support digitalisation through green initiatives, focusing on resource efficiency and a reduced environmental impact.

In parallel, Aksigorta also strengthened employee awareness through ESG training programmes and internal communication campaigns. Environmental consciousness was integrated into daily workflows with screen savers and pop-up reminders. Resource efficiency was prioritised in hardware investments, extending the average lifecycle of equipment to 60 months and servers to up to 10 years. The use of eco-label certified products reached 93%, while environmental awareness was further supported through sustainable visuals and messages in printer usage.

To reduce its digital footprint, Aksigorta implemented environmentally optimised updates on its website and improved data storage processes, cutting annual IT-related carbon emissions by approximately 22 tons. In addition, AI-powered training content developed with next-generation technologies increased both environmental and operational efficiency.
