Week 15: Heartbleed

Heartbleed- the software bug allowing hackers to read e-mails/documents and to silently extract data like user names and passwords from your computer - was all over the news headlines this week. Websites using the security system called Open SSL, used by as many as 66% of all servers on the especially vulnerable. IT security officers must have had a pretty busy week, but in the meantime, my heart and the heart of many investors worldwide was also bleeding based on the way equity markets traded this week . Although tensions around Ukraine escalated a bit at the beginning of the week, which weighed on equity markets,     no other     clear and       .  The NASDAQ close back below the 4.000 points level knocked confidence somewhat.  The US technology stock exchange index has come down 8.22% from its high as     concerns .         According to Bloomberg NASDAQ is trading at a price earnings of 34.6, so stress around valuations was to be expected sooner or later.  But to put things in perspective:   if you would have invested $ 100 exactly one year ago
