Ageas moves its headquarters to the state-of-the-art Manhattan Brussels office building

Ageas moves its headquarters to the state-of-the-art Manhattan Brussels office building Today Ageas moved to its brand-new headquarters, at Manhattan Brussels. The office move is part of Ageas’s corporate strategy that puts well-being and sustainability front and centre of everything it does. A sustainable Ageas Hub Ageas's 190 corporate centre employees are excited to make the move and to start exploring the new sustainable environment that has been awarded a BREEAM Excellent rating. Moreover, the building’s central location in Brussels allows for a smooth and direct commute with train, bike or metro. The interior of the new headquarters (5,000 square meters) was designed by Creneau International, Procos Group and CES, again with maximal attention for sustainability and well-being. The architecture of the building made it possible to include a modern, vibrant centrepiece in the new office that acts as a place for true connection amongst employees.

“Sustainability lies at the core of Ageas’s long-term growth strategy, and our physical presence had to reflect that. Therefore, we carefully selected our new office building that meets our sustainability requirements, and in which we created a beautiful, harmonised working environment for our people to connect, to learn and to grow”

Ready for a new way of working Different times require different ways of working. With the new office, Ageas addresses the ever-evolving needs of its workforce. The new infrastructure allows for an activity-based approach, with different workstations for different needs, supported by a digitally smart work environment. At Ageas, the workplace is considered a place of interaction, a social place, where employees are treated as guests. And as people feel at their best in a warm and hospitable environment, Ageas took inspiration from the hospitality sector when creating its new offices to integrate these elements into the design and office facilities.

“People no longer come to work just to work, they want to connect, to feel inspired, to have the flexibility to work in a stimulating environment. We have made sure that our new office meets those needs. As we spend so much time at work, we wanted the office to be a place that meets our employees’ flexibility needs, and becomes in ways, a home away from home.”

A place that encourages innovation, enhances collaboration and performance, stimulates teamwork, and inspires.
